On August 5, 2021, Acting Governor of the Penza Region O.V. Melnichenko held a working meeting with Alexey Prokhorov, General Director of Hochland Russland LLC.
The company is a leading cheese producer in Europe and Russia, represented in all the most significant segments of the cheese market.
In 2017, Hochland Russland purchased and reconstructed the Cheese Factory in Belinsky, organised the production of semi-hard cheeses. The volume of investments amounted to 2 billion rubles, 30 jobs were created.
Hochland Russland LLC plans to increase the scale of its enterprise, it is planned to update and build a new infrastructure. The parties discussed the conditions and procedure for cooperation in this direction during the meeting.
The result of the negotiations was the decision to establish a working group to deal with specific issues of modernisation of infrastructure facilities related to the activities of Hochland Russland in the Belinsky district.
