A delegation of the Russian-German Chamber of Commerce visited the Penza region from September 21 to 22, 2021 in order to develop trade and economic cooperation between enterprises of the region and members of the Chamber.
The delegation included representatives of large German companies: Linde Engineering Rus LLC, Robert Bosch LLC, Schenker JSC, Petcus Russland LLC.
The delegation was headed by Andreas Renner, Commissioner of the Russian-German Chamber of Commerce in the Volga Federal District.
Within the framework of the business visit on September 22, 2021, a round table on “German experience in the Penza region. Prospects for the development of German companies in the region”. The event was moderated by Sergey Bykov, Director for Regional Affairs of the Russian-German Chamber of Commerce. Companies with German capital operating in the region shared their business experience with their colleagues. The management of German companies noted that the region has created the most comfortable conditions for doing business. Tim Knoll, Executive Director of the Russian-German Chamber of Commerce, addressed the participants of the round table, indicating great interest in strengthening business cooperation. Acting General Director of JSC “Penza Region Development Corporation” Dmitry Polukarov presented the investment potential of the region and demonstrated to potential investors the main platforms for business development. Thanks to the positive experience of German companies in the region, the members of the delegation proposed to consider the possibility of establishing joint ventures in the Penza region.
The business program provided for a visit to leading enterprises: Stankomashstroy LLC, Penza Telema Gino Plant LLC, Motor Technologies LLC, Hochland Russland LLC, Mayak Technocell JSC.
Also within the framework of the visit, a visit was made to the State Lermontov Museum-Reserve “Tarkhany”.
