From 05 to 10 November 2023 a business mission of the Penza Region delegation headed by Governor Oleg Melnichenko to the People’s Republic of China took place.
Within the framework of the business mission, organised with the participation of the Penza Region Development Corporation, a protocol of intentions for the construction of new production facilities on the territory of the region was signed on November 06.
Shi Junpeng, General Director of Shanghai Electric Group, is interested in the development of the Agro-Industrial Park in the Penza Region. The investor will build a plant to produce refined sunflower oil, which is in demand both in Russia and China.
The new project to be realised in the Shemsheisky district will be implemented with the support of the Intergovernmental Russian-Chinese Commission for Investment Cooperation, with the support of the Penza Region Development Corporation.
