On June 15, on the platform of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Minister of Economic Development and Industry of Penza Region Almaz Khakimov met with the Chairman of the Russian-Arab Business Council Tatiana Gvilava.
The parties conducted business negotiations on prospects of cooperation, and outlined a set of joint steps to select priority sectors for future cooperation with the Arab states. The Penza Region Management Delegation was invited to participate in the forthcoming Arabia-Expo International Exhibition to be held on 16-18 October 2022 in Cairo under the auspices of the Union of Arab Chambers and Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce.
Almaz Khakimov, Minister of Economic Development and Industry of Penza Region, appreciated the IT-platform being developed by the Russian-Arab Business Council, which will become an international business platform and a venue for distance exhibitions, forums, conferences, as well as a communication tool allowing to implement through consulting support the opening of business and promote cooperation with the Arab countries.
